Theryn is still being built. We need a small group of players to explore early versions of the world, break things on purpose, and tell us what it needs before launch.
What is Theryn?
Theryn is a persistent Minecraft MMORPG survival server — a living world built around exploration, community, and a mystery that unfolds slowly over time. Players are citizens settling a land much older than themselves, not chosen heroes destined to save it.
Long before the capital of Dawnreach, a civilization known only as the Ancients vanished — leaving ruins and repositories across the map. The Archive is their fragmented network of preserved knowledge. Players piece together fragments over years; the full truth stays partially unknown.

Dawnreach — the hub city
A warm frontier capital at world spawn with markets, guild halls, a harbor, and districts built for community and story.
The Archive mystery
Scattered repositories left by the Ancients — shrines, towers, and hidden discoveries that players piece together over time.
Exploration-first lore
No cutscenes spelling everything out. You learn by finding fragments, reading inscriptions, and theorizing with other players.
Player-driven economy
Player stalls, NPC vendors, crafting trades, and guild systems designed so your choices leave a mark on the world.
Long-horizon content
Built to expand for years — new regions, repositories, and ages of discovery without ever closing the central mystery.

Alpha access is limited and by invitation. Not everyone who applies will be selected for the first wave — but we will keep your details on file for future rounds.
What happens after you apply

- 3Set your Minecraft username on your Theryn account so we can match you in-game
- 4Connect at play.theryn.org and begin exploring the Archive
